The famous Santala Devi Temple is situated around 15 kms from the Dehradun city. The temple is a place of great devotion and worhip for people visiting the place from all over. After reaching Jaitunwala, its 2 kms drive to Punjabiwala and further 2 kms trekking to the temple place. It is believed that Santla Devi, alongwith her brother, on finding they would not be able to face the Mughal Army, gave their weapons and start to pray when a light flickered and they both transformed into stone images.

- देवभूमि उत्तराखंड की राजधानी व उत्तरी भारत के पश्चिमोत्तर उत्तरांचल राज्य में स्थित देहरादून में संतौला देवी मंदिर प्रमुख पर्यटन स्थल में से है।
- देहरादून से लगभग 15 किमी दूर स्थित प्रसिद्ध संतौला देवी मंदिर है।
- संतौला देवी मंदिर लोगों के विश्वास का प्रतीक है
- संतौला देवी मंदिर का बहुत सांस्कृतिक और धार्मिक महत्त्व है।
- इसे शांतला देवी मंदिर के नाम से भी जाना जाता है।
- माना जाता है कि जब शांतला देवी को यह एहसास हुआ कि वे मुग़लों का सामना नहीं कर पाएँगी तो उन्होंने हथियार छोड़ कर ईश्वर की पूजा की। उसी समय चारों ओर दिव्य प्रकाश फैला और वे पत्थर की मूर्ति में बदल गयी।
- संतौला देवी मंदिर क़िले के बाहर बना हुआ है।
- कहा जाता है कि शांतला देवी के मूर्ति में बदलने की घटना शनिवार को हुई थी।
- मंदिर पहुँचने के लिए पंजाबीवाला से 2 किलोमीटर पैदल चलना होता है।
